Targeting Metadata

The Targeting Metadata section provides discovery endpoints for the taxonomies and segment libraries available for use when configuring tactic targeting in the PulsePoint Platform API.

When building campaigns programmatically, knowing what targeting options are available — and how they are identified in our system — is essential before you can apply them. These endpoints allow you to browse, search, and export the full set of targeting data available to your account, including behavioral segments from third-party data providers, health condition and treatment populations from the MeSH taxonomy, and other targeting dimensions.

Each endpoint supports keyword search and attribute-level filtering (for example, filtering health populations by condition type or treatment type within the MeSH taxonomy), as well as full exports in JSON or CSV format for use in your own tooling or workflows.

The IDs and identifiers returned by these endpoints are the same values used when configuring targeting on a tactic. You can find the full list of supported targeting fields in the Create Tactic and Update Tactic guides. We recommend using these discovery endpoints to build or validate your targeting selections before submitting a tactic creation or update request.
